Justin even pretended not to know his gal while up onstage with her. "Selena, nice to meet you, I'm Justin. You're very beautiful, maybe we can go out sometime," he said. The crowd actually let out a collective sigh, which could have been disappointment or relief. Hard to tell.
These two were a big story from the show, and so was Lady Gaga. She performed her new single "Edge of Glory" in a green wig on the stage made to look New York City then she closed the show with "Born This Way." Her last performance was quite epic: She was "born" out of a cocoon and apparently rocked a green wig AND green armpit hair! So that's what Lady Gaga thought of next...
