Britney Spears performed at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles on Monday night, and despite an awkward Marilyn Monroe moment and some lip synching, the pop princess gave her fans exactly what they wanted!
Britney opened her set with "Hold It Against Me," and after performing a handful of other songs from her new CD, she belted out some of her biggest hits including "3," "Piece of Me," "If U Seek Amy" and a remix of "Boys." Britney showed off her rockin' bod in a series of sexy midriff-baring outfits, and she also gave us a peek at her legs when she had a Marilyn Monroe moment onstage. Hey, at least she came prepared for this one!
Britney later straddled a massive guitar to perform a cover of Madonna's "Burning Up," and she also gave one male audience member a night he'll never forget. So what A-listers attended the show?
A newly single Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky showed their support for Britney, as did Nicole Richie, who tweeted this hilarious dance-off video before she headed to the Staples Center -- check it out!
