Ian Somerhalder and his Vampire Diaries co-star and real-life girlfriend,Nina Dobrev, arrive at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday (June 19) at the MuchMusic HQ in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The 22-year-old actress wore an iridescent emerald green strapless dress with an asymmetric bow by Georges Chakra Couture.
“At MMVA’S- whoa this thing Is huge… You Fans ROCK,” Ian, 32, wrote on hisTwitter page.
“Pulling a fast one- Boarding the worlds smallest plane to go to Toronto for the MMVAS… Airport to redcarpet! Ahhhhh,” Nina tweeted earlier in the day.

Justin had so much fun holding Selena onstage!
We were so excited when Justin Bieber showed up at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards, and were amazed by his flirtatious onstage banter with his girlfriend Selena Gomez!
Selena, 18, was hosting the show, and Justin, 17, went onstage to receive the award for “International Video of the Year By A Canadian.” The award itself was a tie, between his “Somebody To Love” andDrake‘s “Find Your Love.” Both went onstage, where Colin Farrell & Selena were presenting the award.
After Justin and Drake got their awards, Justin went over to Selena, put his arm around her and said, “How are you?”
He then said, “Selena? Nice to meet you, I’m Justin,” to which she responded, “Nice to meet you.”
And yes, it got a little cuter AND stranger.
Justin then said, “You’re very beautiful. Maybe we could go out sometime?”
A noticeably surprised Selena responded, “Thank you, OK, maybe.”
Overall it was very cute — if perhaps a little awkward!
