Prince William and Kate Middleton will arrive in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, in just three weeks—andHollywoodLife.com has the details of how they’ll spend Canada Day, the country’s birthday, on July 1!
They’ll spend the day on the lawn of Parliament Hill—akin to the U.S. Capitol—where there will be all-day festivities, including a roster of more than a dozenCanadian musical acts. Missing from the lineup? Some of the hottest Canadian performers around, such as Justin Bieber, Shania Twain and Drake!
Among the musical acts, is Maria Aragon, the 10-year-old from Winnipeg who gained international notoriety after she performed a Lady Gaga song on YouTube.
The other artists that William and Kate will rock out to are Great Big Sea, Pierre Lapointe,Florence K, Sam Roberts Band, Corb Lund, Dan Mangan, Elisapie Isaac, Jenn Grant, Au tour de la Bolduc, Les 7 doigts de la main and Delhi 2 Dublin.
The festivities will also include drum troupe Kumpa’nia, string quartet Quatuor Orphee, dance troupe Zogma, and world music group Soul Influence.
“This year, we invite everyone to take part in the Canada Day Noon Show in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge,” said James Moore, the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages. “We invite all Canadians across this great country to come together on this special day and celebrate the fact that we live in a free, democratic, and bilingual country.”
An estimated one million revelers are expected to descend upon Parliament Hill for a chance to see the Royals, and many Ottawa hotels have already booked for that weekend. Since it coincides with the July 4th holiday in the U.S., organizers are expecting a huge number of Americans—particularly from nearby New York State, since it’s about an hour’s drive from the border.
Also part of the day-long festivities is a “flypast” of the Canadian Armed Forces’ CF-18 airplanes from above.

FACE:
- Start off with Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer using fingertips to smooth the skin’s surface and elongate the wear of your make up.
- Apply Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer in shade of your choice using foundation brush #13 (starting in center of the face and working your way out towards jaw line).
- Apply high definition concealer under eyes and top with Photo-Op Under Eye Brightener to smooth and illuminate.
- Set face using fan brush #22 and Photoset powder.
EYES:
- Apply Photo Finish Lid Primer with fingertips all over entire eyelid to smooth, neutralize and hold shadow in place.
- Using Eye Lights Eye Shadow Palette in beam, use lightest shade all over with tapered shadow brush #7, using same brush sweep the middle peach color over the eyelid(starting at lashes) then place the darkest shade in outer corner and in the crease of the eye.
- Apply Jet Set Waterproof Liner in black across top lash line and in the inner rim of eye using arced liner brush #21.
- Finish lashes with a coat of layer lash primer and jet black Lash DNA mascara.
LIPS:
- Apply nude lip liner in Fair and Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss in Endless.
