How Prince William & Kate Middleton Are Living Just Like YOU In Wales!

Kate does the shopping, and cooking in their $1,200 farmhouse — and she’s opted to not have a lady-in-waiting! Do you like that they are such a modest couple?

Vanity Fair reveals that being an army wife, while Prince William works as a search and rescue helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force, “suits [Kate] just fine.” She doesn’t need fancy dinners on the finest china — she wants to have a regular life. Prince Charles reportedly offered the young couple a larger staff, but Kate decided on just three protection officers to accompany her at all times. Kate even does all the cooking, but has splurged on one thing — a housekeeper.Kate Middleton and Prince William are simply known as Mr. & Mrs. Wales where they reside in the northern Wales county of Anglesey. The newlyweds are featured on the July cover of Vanity Fair and this modern day couple is quick to dispel any of your preconceived notions of how a royal should live. Although Kate was crowned the Duchess of Cambridge on April 29, she can be spotted at their local Anglesey Waitrose market doing the weekly grocery shopping wearing low-key ensembles with minimal security protection.
And if you thought William and Kate were residing in a massive estate in Wales, think again. They live happily in a $1,200 Anglesey farm house! That’s less that what some young professionals are paying for their apartments! But William and Kate, who call their staff by their first names are doing their best to enjoy a simple life out of the spotlight.
Although Kate is heading on her US trip this summer without a lady-in-waiting, she will have a personal secretary and a 24 hours press team. We love how low-key this couple is — don’t you?
