Back in 2009, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley posed for a smokin' hot photo shoot in TV Guide's Fall television preview. The photos were phenomenal of course, but there are always a few that never make it onto the pages of the magazine. Fortunately for you, we have their outtakes right here — and we must say, they're just as amazing as the ones that made the cut!
Does the sun seem brighter this morning? The air more crisp? Cloudless climes and the like? Bad weather for vampires, but definitely a sign that the cast of The Vampire Diaries is back to work filming. How do we know? The busy actors have been tweeting their excitement, which rivals ours, we must admit.

Oh, The Vampire Diaries, how we love thee! And we know we’re not the only ones.
Our fave supernatural soap and its array of attractive actors are up for nine Teen Choice Awards this year. Nine! Not only is the show itself up for the Choice TV Show Fantasy/SciFi category, the main trio — Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley — also picked up nominations.Michael Trevino, Kat Graham, and newcomer Joseph Morgan all got nods as well. Basically, the entire cast — minus Candice Accola, who was robbed! — is up for awards, because, well, they’re awesome. ‘Nuff said.

Then we can all catch the live awards show ceremony on August 7, 2011 at 8/7c on Fox; hopefully we'll see TVD’s many stars walk away with some much-deserved honors.

Paul Wesley Speaks Polish at the Transatlantyk Poznan International Film and Music Festival
So sexy. Paul Wesley, who spent a good chunk of his childhood in Poland, speaks Polish at the Transatlantyk Film Festival, where he’s serving as ambassador. Paul visited the motherland to support his friend Jan Kaczmarek, who is in charge of the festival.

Good news, Vampire Diaries fans! Mr. Ian Somerhalder is back in Atlanta, where the series films. The bad news? It seems the rest of the cast is definitely not. In fact, they are flung far and wide, from Poland to Paris. These vamps and werewolves have it good!
