July 13 was one celebratory day on the set of The Vampire Diaries.Steven R. McQueen rang in his big 22nd birthday while filming Season 3 with his cast mates! Thanks to onscreen big sis Nina Dobrev (Elena), the cutest pic surfaced via her Twitter with Steven posing in a vintage Batman t-shirt in front of his decorated cake alongside Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, Nina, and TVD producer Julie Plec.
Is it just us, or does Steven look like he’s legit grown up since Season 2 wrapped? (Must be all those ghost girlfriends coming back to haunt him...) We’re also a little smitten over Candice and Zach hanging together. Could it be any signifier about a Caroline-Matt romance resurgence in the near future? Hmm!
