Ah, all of Ian Somerhalder’s worrying about American Idol and DVRs killing our beloved Vampire Diaries was for naught. The CW issued a press release on April 25 stating that the bloody good show will return for a third season. Not terribly surprising (but still a major relief!), since it’s the network’s most-watched show. We can’t tell you how ecstatic that makes us! Now if only we could be sure that everyone would survive that long…
