Damon Salvatore Is One of GQ's Most Stylish Men on TV

As the Mystic Falls gang tries to figure out how to get into the tomb, Damon and Elena end up with 

some alone time.

Everyone’s crazy about a sharp-dressed vamp. The Vampire Diaries’ Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) clocked in at a cool #15 onGQ’s 25 Most Stylish Men on TV list.

We are far from shocked the “brooding vampire heartthrob,” as GQdubbed him, scored himself a spot. Not only is he snarky and sexy, he’s also got the whole centuries-old vamp look down to a T. GQ eds particularly dig his “black leather jackets, knit scarves, rough-hewn denim” ensembles. Sure, it sounds like standard vamp-wear, but as we all know, there’s nothingordinary about Damon Salvatore.

'The Vampire Diaries' Cast Talks Season 3 & Strip Clubs

Since filming on season 3 of 'The Vampire Diaries' is still months away, when AOL TV caught up with the cast at The CW upfront red carpet yesterday none of the stars had any real clue about what their characters will be up to come fall.

They did, however, have a few suggestions for when Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec and the rest of the writers finally sit down to brainstorm the season.

"I'd like to see Elena stand on her own two feet and fly solo for a second," Nina Dobrev suggested.

Ian Somerhalder's hopes for Damon were a little less lofty. "I just hope that Damon and Stefan and Klaus can go on a bender or two," he said.

Paul Wesley was into the partying idea: "Get hammered, go to Tijuana, strip clubs, tequila."

Hold up -- is there actually a strip club in Mystic Falls?

"I'm sure there is one," laughed Dobrev. "I'm sure Alaric's at the strip club every day."

Somerhalder and Wesley weren't positive about its existence, but they've got it covered. "We'll have them write one in," they both agreed.
